Pegasus Theatre Project Kicks Off 2018 Season with Bakersfield Mist April 13 -22

With searing, clever, and often funny drama, Bakersfield Mist exposes our deepest and darkest perceptions of class, truth, and how we define what's valuable.

Written by Stephen Sachs and directed by Peter Bisgaier, Bakersfield Mist opens this Friday April 13 and runs through Sunday, April 22 at the West Windsor Arts Center. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm, and Wednesday at10am.

Bakersfield Mist uses art as the catalyst to bring together unemployed bartender, Maude Gutman, and eminent NY art expert, Lionel Percy.  When Maude comes to believe a painting she bought at a thrift store is really an undiscovered Jackson Pollock, she thinks she's struck it rich!  But when Lionel arrives at her trailer to evaluate the painting, it results in an afternoon neither one of them ever expected.  Inspired by true events, Bakersfield Mist is a culture clash that's messier than a Jackson Pollock, but just as thrilling!
In addition to the performance, join us for one of these special events:
  • Friday, April 13: Opening Night Reception immediately after the show
  • Sunday, April 15: Talkback Session with the cast and creative team immediately after the show.
  • Saturday, April 21: Pre-show Wine & Cheese Reception starting at 6:30pm.
Also, check out this behind-the-scenes sneak peak about the Bakersfield Mist production process, filmed by Princeton TV!
