Mozart's magical tale brings us Prince Tamino and Pamina, young lovers caught in a battle between darkness and light. With the help of Papageno the bird catcher and three spirits guiding the way, love and truth triumph over all. Sung in German with English dialogue and supertitles.

The Nutcracker, American Repertory Ballet

American Repertory Ballet brings the beloved classic Nutcracker to the stage with Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score, thrilling choreography and a cast of more than 100. A holiday tradition for more than 50 years (1964), American Repertory Ballet’s Nutcracker is one of the longest, continuously running Nutcracker productions in the nation. Directed by Artistic Director Douglas Martin, ARB’s professional company will be joined by select students from Princeton Ballet School to tell the story of a young girl named Clara and how a mysterious gift from her Uncle Drosselmeyer brings about enchanted dreams and fantastical scenes. American Repertory Ballet’s Nutcracker is a perfect holiday treat for your entire family!

With tacky leg lamps, weird department store Santas, and ruined turkey dinners – courtesy of the neighbor’s dog – the holiday season commences at Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre with “A Christmas Story – The Musical.”

Kelsey Theatre is located on the college’s West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. 

Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $16 children/students. Tickets may be purchased at www.kelseytheatre.net or by calling the Kelsey Box Office at 609-570-3333. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible, with free parking next to the theater.

With zoot fruited juices and binka bird geese, from Bed-Headed Fred to Timmy Loo Hoo, this tale of glorious holiday cheer is similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with -- if he ever had his way with the story.

Melissa Etheridge: The Holiday Show - State Theatre New Jersey

Melissa Etheridge is one of rock music’s great female icons. Etheridge’s popularity is built around such memorable songs as “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs,” and “Ain't It Heavy” for which she won her first Grammy® for Best Female Rock Vocal. For this special holiday show, Etheridge will be performing songs from her 2008 holiday album, A New Thought For Christmas,along with fan favorites and holiday classics such as “Merry Christmas Baby,” Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “O Night Divine,” and more.
