A young orphan and his mates are shipped off from Victorian England to a distant island ruled by the evil King Zarboff. They know nothing of the mysterious trunk in the captain’s cabin, which contains precious, otherworldly cargo. At sea, the boys are discovered by the precocious Molly, a Starcatcher-in-training who realizes that the trunk’s cargo is starstuff, a celestial substance so powerful that it must never fall into the wrong hands. When the ship is taken over by pirates led by the fearsome Black Stache, the journey quickly turns into a thrilling adventure.

Join us for our ongoing series This Really Happened... featuring some of the most hilarious and moving storytellers on stage. With a rotating cast of storytellers, the show is always fresh. Audience members can also claim a spot in the show and share a "two-minute tale" at the open-mic at the end of each show, for up to six audience members. Hosted by Joey Novick, each show will be one hour long with no intermission, followed by the open mic segment of “two-minute tales.
