Film Screening, 'Ahead of the Curve', Logan Inn

On Sunday, October 17, New Hope Celebrates History will premiere the bio-documentary Ahead of the Curve at the Logan Inn's screening room. This will be the first film for the newly renovated Logan Inn, complete with plush theatre seating and a concession stand. Ahead of the Curve chronicles the life of Franco Stevens, founder of Curve, the most successful lesbian magazine ever published in the 1990s.

The film follows Franco on her journey through times of joy and strength in overcoming a disabling injury. Ahead of the Curve looks at queer women working in the community from the 1990s to the present and Franco's ever-present commitment to them in this inspiring film of courage. The film will be shown at 2:00 PM and 5:00PM at the Logan Inn, 10 West Ferry St. New Hope, PA. Both showings have limited seating. Tickets are $15.00 per ticket.
