Campus Collections Outdoor Walking Tour, Princeton University Art Museum

Princeton University is home to one of the country's most significant collections of twentieth- and twenty-first-century public sculpture. Join a guided walking tour of the campus collections with an Art Museum docent and discover a variety of artworks by modern and contemporary sculptors, from Henry Moore to Louise Nevelson. Learn about materials and techniques and explore elements of design and balance.

Tours meet at 2 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday through June 26, except May 21–22. These one-hour tours are held outdoors, rain or shine, and are stair-free.

Free Student Concert/Recital, Berlind Theater of McCarter Theatre Center

On Sunday, June 12, from 2-5 pm, Professor Clarfield's award winning students will perform in a free concert open to the public. The concert will take place at the Berlind Theater of McCarter Theatre Center at 91 University Place in Princeton, NJ. The program includes concertos by Mozart and Haydn and works by Bach, Chopin, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Prokofiev and two women composers, Amy Beach and Margaret Bonds.

Performance: "Among Trees II" - Princeton Public Library @Herrontown Woods

"Among Trees" returns for the second year and will again include an eclectic mix of sound and words that will connect the audience to nature. Professional actors will read a variety of poetry and writings about nature, many contributed by community members. The readings will be interspersed with musical performances.

Organized by Vivia Font (Lewis Center lecturer) and Ben Steinfeld (NYU Gallatin lecturer), the event is presented in partnership with the Friends of the Herrontown Woods and Small World Coffee. Rain Date: Friday, June 17, at 5 p.m.

Derrick Wang's Opera Scalia/Ginsburg and W.A. Mozart's The Impresario, Princeton Festival

Comedic double bill of Derrick Wang's opera Scalia/Ginsburg and W.A. Mozart's The Impresario. Wang's buoyant work is inspired by two opera-loving, ideologically opposed Supreme Court justices who, appearing before a higher power, offer their legal opinions in song. Mozart's opera features an impresario managing the demands of two would-be divas arguing over a leading role. Gregory Geehern conducts. In English with English titles.

The Princeton Symphonic Brass, under the baton of Lawrence Kursar, will hold its annual Summer Concert on Sunday, June 12, 2022, 7:30 PM at the Westminster Choir College Playhouse, 101 Walnut Lane, Princeton, New Jersey. A summer's eve to entertain, inspire, and celebrate peace & freedom.
