Musical Guest: Bob Mecklenburger, a resident of Princeton Junction, is a folksinger, songwriter, and guitarist. He’s been singing and playing his 6-string and 12-string guitars for more than sixty years, performing songs from the 1960s/1970s folk music revival and his own compositions in a variety of bands and groups. Concert, Princeton University Summer Chamber Concerts
The final concert of Princeton University Summer Chamber Concerts’ 55th Season of FREE chamber music concerts presents the ZODIAC TRIO on Thursday, July 21st at 7:30pm in Richardson Auditorium on the Princeton University campus. The first half of the program will include Freylakh by Paul Schoenfeld; Chau Paris, Fugata by Astor Piazzolla, and Igor Stravinsky’s l’Histoire du Soldat. After intermission, they will offer Benny Goodman’s Tribute; Summerland for Violin and Piano by William Grant Still; An American in Paris by George Gershwin and finally, Béla Bartók’s Contrasts. Tickets are free and available online only starting Thursday, July 14th through the university ticket office at: tickets.princeton.edu. Limit of 2 tickets for Orchestra; 4 tickets for Balcony.
