The Long Goodbye. $12.50.

A revisionist take on the detective genre, this adaptation of the Raymond Chandler novel is set in ‘70s LA and stars Elliott Gould as a laid-back version of private investigator Philip Marlowe. THE LONG GOODBYE is Altman’s subversive variation on the original and is a pure delight to behold. Rated R.
