Story & Verse: A Storytelling and Poetic Open Mic, Arts Council of Princeton

Enjoy an evening of community-created entertainment in the form of storytelling and poetic open mic! All are welcome to tell a well-prepared story or perform their poetry. Each month, we'll be inviting inspiration from a well-known song title. Artists are invited to interpret the theme as broadly as they wish. Performers must bring their own work, inspired by this month's theme: "Life Is Worth Living". Free.

Gala Benefit Concert, Westminster Conservatory

Westminster Conservatory of Music and its Honors Music Program will present a gala fundraising concert on Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in Hillman Hall, located at 101 Walnut Lane, Princeton, New Jersey, 08540. This free event will feature a variety of student performances representing the Conservatory's diverse offerings for every age, as well as performances by esteemed faculty, alumni and friends of the Conservatory.

Patrons who wish to make a donation to support the program may do so at the door as well as through the fundraising website here.

Princeton Pianists Ensemble is thrilled to present our fall concert: PPE Presents: Reverie, Nov. 18, 8PM @ Richardson Auditorium! Tickets are $8 students, $15 general admission, free with Student Events (passport to the arts). Come and experience a dream-scape of sound, fantasy, and creativity as you listen to our completely original arrangements featuring up to five pianos at once! From Beethoven, Mozart, Respighi, and Strauss to Disney and Pixar, Owl City, Hollow Knight, and more, this concert is not something you'll want to miss.

The Princeton Folk Music Society presents Bruce Molsky with an evening of fiddle, banjo, guitar, and song. Grammy-nominated and described as "an absolute master", Bruce transports audiences to another time and place, with his authentic and personal interpretations of rarities from the Southern Appalachian songbook and other musical traditions from around the globe.

Christ Congregation Church, 50 Walnut Lane, Princeton, NJ. Tickets in advance or at the door: $25 ($20 members, $10 students, $5 children). Show starts at 8:00 PM, doors open at 7:30..
