Who Framed Roger Rabbit

1988 1 hr 44 min PG

This innovative comedy broke new ground with its special effects by mixing imaginative animation with live action. Borrowing heavily from ‘40s noirs, a down on his luck private eye gets mixed up with a cartoon rabbit accused of murder in this blend of slapstick humor, mystery, and a heartfelt original story. WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT stars Bob Hoskins and Christopher Lloyd, with the voice of Kathleen Turner as Jessica Rabbit, and features plenty of cartoon cameos from the likes of Bugs Bunny to Mickey Mouse.

From the writer of the hit Broadway musical - and soon-to-be film franchise - Wicked and the beloved 90’s TV series My So-Called Life, comes a new comedy that explores a woman’s right to choose in decidedly unexpected, often hilarious, and ultimately thought-provoking ways.

Journalist Zipporah Zunder has landed the story of her life—and it’s forcing her to reexamine her past, her (sometimes absurd) present, and the choices that have shaped her life. Playwright Winnie Holzman brings her trademark wit and ability to weave social issues into compelling, relatable stories as she explores one of the most polarizing subjects of our time through a refreshingly humorous - and profoundly human- lens.
