Woody Carsky-Wilson, published writer and poet who frequently performs at our Story & Verse, will teach the performing process, from managing and improving the creative cycle to writing, editing and finally performing your own stories and poems. Come and learn in an interactive environment, you'll soon be ready to share your stories and dreams in the spotlight!

Outdoor screening begins at susnet. Bring a blanket or chair. Popcorn provided. When Edward Bloom (Albert Finney) becomes ill, his son, William (Billy Crudup), travels to be with him. William has a strained relationship with Edward because his father has always told exaggerated stories about his life, and William thinks he's never really told the truth. Even on his deathbed, Edward recounts fantastical anecdotes. When William, who is a journalist, starts to investigate his father's tales, he begins to understand the man and his penchant for storytelling. Rain date July 17.
