Groundhog Day, The Musical @Kelsey Theatre

Groundhog Day features a book by original co-screenwriter Danny Rubin, and music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Tim Minchin (Matilda the Musical). It is February 2nd in Punxutawney, Pennsylvania and a storm is coming. Phil Connors, a big-city weatherman, couldn’t be more frustrated to be reporting on the small-town Groundhog Day Ceremony – until he finds himself reliving the same day over and over again. Stuck in an endless loop of arrogance and cynicism amongst the cheery townsfolk, Phil must learn to take advantage of his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances, break the cycle and transform his life. $30 PG13 Kelsey Theatre, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor NJ, 08550 609-570-3333
