Come to Terhune Orchards for a day of family fun on the farm!

What better way to celebrate fall than with Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins and Apples! Enjoy pony rides, pedal and play tractors, children’s games & activities, visit the Corn Stalk Maze and Hay Bale Maze, Adventure Story Barn, our barnyard of farm animals and so much more farm fun. In our historic apple orchard, enjoy tasting flights or a glass of red, white or fruit-based wine made from Terhune own grapes and fruit, with plenty of open-air seating.

Picnic in the Vineyard, Crossing Vineyards & Winery

WONDERMENT, American Repertory Ballet (ARB)

WONDERMENT is an innovative program of four diverse dance works. Featured on the bill will be Antony Tudor’s Little Improvisations, a “[depiction of] two children playing in an attic on a rainy day,” per AntonyTudor.org archives, and Lar Lubovitch’s Something About Night, set to choral music by Franz Schubert. Also featured will be the renowned Swan Lake “Black Swan Pas and Coda,” an iconic display of technical bravura, and the world premiere of a new ballet choreographed by Ethan Stiefel inspired by prolific baroque composer, conductor, and ballet dancer Jean Baptiste Lully, and one of his protégés, Marin Marais.

Beethoven's Triple Concerto, Princeton Symphony Orchestra

The PSO draws from its own talented roster, highlighting concertmaster Basia Danilow and principal cellist Alistair MacRae joined by pianist Steven Beck in Beethoven’s “Triple” Concerto. 2023 Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Michael Abels, well known for his film scores, takes inspiration from Vivaldi for his More Seasons. Prokofiev’s first symphony channels the classical style and bears the hallmarks of the composer’s unmistakable voice.

Let's Just Sing! Choral Reading of Fauré Requiem and Vivaldi Gloria, Princeton Society of Musical Amateurs

The Princeton Society of Musical Amateurs celebrates 90 years of love for choral music, and you're invited to sing. Vocal scores provided. $10 admission for singers (or annual membership). Free for students and non-singing guests.

Members of the community gather together for the common and joyful enterprise of making music for their own pleasure, singing through the great works in choral literature with chorus, orchestra, and soloists as the works require. There are no separate rehearsals and no auditions. Walk-in singers and listen-only guests are welcome at all sessions. Conductors may do some light preparation with the chorus before the sing-through. Orchestra members participate by invitation, based on the instrumental needs of the work. The Princeton Singers presents works of Australian, European, South African, and music of the Americas, exploring the influences of Indigenous music on classically trained composers. Don’t miss this captivating journey through the unique works by Australian composers Sarah Hopkins, Stephen Leek, Canadian Lydia Adams, and Antonin Dvorak, and by the Native American composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate, as well as African American spirituals.

An Evening with The Mountain Goats, McCarter Theatre

The Mountain Goats, is an indie folk band founded by singer-songwriter John Darnielle. Originally a solo project for Darnielle, the band has evolved to include various collaborators such as bassist Peter Hughes, drummer Jon Wurster, and multi-instrumentalist Matt Douglas. In the 1990s, they gained attention for their low-fidelity recordings made on a cassette deck, releasing music on cassette and vinyl. Performing in Princeton as a duo, don't miss a night of cross-generational storytelling and songcraft.
