Explore the night sky as it would have been seen in 1776 by George Washington and his troops, then stay for special Planetarium shows. Tickets required. Join the Trenton Friends Meeting for their annual peace vigil. There will be a brief introduction to Quaker ways and then silence. Various faith-leaders speak on "Peace on earth," then everyone is invited to speak if led to do so. Following a sing-along, visitors are invited to share a meal. Free. 4 p.m.

New Year’s Eve with the Capital Philharmonic
After a stunning debut last fall, conductor Ruth Ochs returns to the Capital Philharmonic's podium as a Music Director finalist — this time she will lead our most festive night of the year. Celebrate the turning of the year with a program that dances across borders and centuries — from the swirling romance of Strauss’s Blue Danube to the spirited rhythms of Spain and beyond. This joyful concert is filled with color, flair, and just the right amount of sparkle.
