Join us for cheer in the winery to enjoy live music and meet up with family and friends. With indoor seating in our wine barn among the wine tanks and outdoor seating with firepits. Enjoy hot mulled wine, tasting flights of Terhune favorite wines, and wine by the glass. All ages can have fun with s’mores and hot cocoa kits. “No-Sew” Great American Birthday Quilt Event, Morven Museum & Garden
Gather for some lively conversation and creative fun! We're coming together to honor history, crafting no-sew quilt squares just like the women of the past did, while working on a special project to represent New Jersey and Princeton in the Williamsburg Great American Birthday quilt. Your stories and creativity are the only stitching required! The 12"x12" fabric square background will be supplied. Various fat-quarters of fabric and small felt pieces will be available to create your contribution to the Great American Birthday quilt. Fabric glue will also be available.

This warm, gentle musical comedy, set in 1937 Budapest, Hungary, follows the tangled tale of parfumerie employees Georg Horvath and Amalia. As coworkers, the pair dislike each other from the beginning — he thinks she's stuck up; she thinks he's arrogant. Meanwhile, both rapturously write to their lonely-hearts pen pal when the work day is done, and it doesn't take long for the audience to see that they’re in love without realizing it.

Princeton, 101 Poor Farm Road, Princeton. legacy.esuus.org/princeton. Have you ever wondered where the phrase "a sticky wicket" originated? Find out that and more about the history and practice of cricket with speaker Clarence Modeste, who was inducted into the Cricket Hall of Fame in 2011. He has been a member of the Staten Island Cricket Club since 1961 and president since the 1990s. Many cricket clubs are organized by nationality, but SICC is open to all comers, and has hosted matches with local, national, and international teams. Among the accomplishments of which Modeste is most proud is the successful introduction of a program for organized youth cricket to Staten Island CC in 2010 at which boys and girls, aged 5-18 years, are taught the game. Refreshments served. $10 for nonmembers.

Prokofiev’s First Violin Concerto featuring Bella Hristova
Bulgarian-American violinist Bella Hristova has won international acclaim for her “expressive nuance and rich tone” (The New York Times). She performs Sergei Prokofiev’s lyrical first violin concerto. Andreia Pinto Correia’s 2018 work Ciprés explores themes of trees and water. The program concludes with Dmitri Shostakovich’s first symphony, an early work revealing the composer’s profound talent. Richardson Auditorium

Let's Just Sing! Choral Reading of Gilbert & Sullivan's Ruddigore, Princeton Society of Musical Amateurs
Princeton Society of Musical Amateurs (http://musicalamateurs.org) Conductor: Lee Milhous (Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society) Location: Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton, Rt 206 at Cherry Hill Road, Princeton NJ The Princeton Society of Musical Amateurs welcomes singers of all levels to participate. Vocal scores provided. $10 admission for singers (or annual membership for our monthly sings). Free for students and non-singing guests. Members of the community gather together for the common and joyful enterprise of making music for their own pleasure, singing through the great works in choral literature with chorus, orchestra, and soloists as the works require. There are no separate rehearsals and no auditions. Walk-in singers and listen-only guests are welcome at all sessions. Conductors may do some light preparation with the chorus before the sing-through. Orchestra members participate by invitation, based on the instrumental needs of the work.
