Albert Einstein Halloween Performance
112 Mercer Street, Princeton Albert Einstein moved to Princeton, NJ, on October 17, 1933 to join the Faculty of the Institute for Advanced Study. Two weeks later, on Halloween night, legend has it that when a group of children knocked on his door and called out "Trick or Treat!", Einstein, unfamiliar with the tradition, came to the front porch and provided a treat of a musical variety: he serenaded them with his violin. This Halloween, IAS will recreate this musical experience with local violinist Adrienne Walsh, who will be performing for trick-or-treaters as they walk past. All are welcome to stop by!
