The Muppets take on Charles Dickens’s beloved holiday classic in what has become one of the most faithful adaptations of A Christmas Carol ever to hit the big screen. Michael Caine earnestly stars as the grouchy holiday-hating Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by three holiday spirits on Christmas Eve. Featuring Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzy Bear, Gonzo, and all of your other favorite Muppets. Plus, this joyous musical features more than 15 original songs from legendary composer Paul Williams. Princeton Makes Talks Series Features Visual Artist Claude Winn
On Saturday, December 7 at 6:30 pm, painter Claude Winn will be the featured speaker for the “Inside the Artist’s Studio” series at Princeton Makes in the Princeton Shopping Center. Winn, a Princeton Makes cooperative member, creates stunning abstract paintings that she calls “meditations,” reflecting her interdisciplinary background. During the event, Winn will discuss her work and the influences of her art heroes, including William de Kooning, Wassily Kandinsky, and Helen Frankenthaler. A visual and theatre artist, Winn’s interest in art began in childhood when she spent hours in museums studying the works of great artists.

2024 9th Annual Nassau Film Festival, AMC MarketFair
The 9th Annual Nassau International Film Festival will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the AMC MarketFair 10 in Princeton, NJ from 6:30 - 10:30 PM. The best in international, national and local short films for 2024 will be screened. 2024 Festival Proceeds to benefit Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army. Festival goers are urged to bring an unwrapped toy/winter weather clothing or both to drop off at the collection site at the festival. Toys and clothing, aimed at delivering messages of joy and hope, donated by festival goers will go towards benefiting disadvantaged children up to age 12.
