Hamilton, NJ – September 29, 2025 -- Boheme Opera NJ (“Boheme”) opens its 37th main stage season with “Seasons of Love: Broadway Comes to Princeton” on November 16, 2025, at 3:30 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Princeton, NJ.
In “Seasons of Love,” Boheme builds on its history of bringing new artists to the stage with an exciting cast of future stars. Acclaimed music director, pianist, arranger and orchestrator Andrew Wheeler directs four young, dynamic performers with Broadway bona fides – Abi Bohn, Emilie Bienne, Isaac Silver and Aidan Babbitt – and electrifying musical accompanists – bassist William Shea and drummer Don Simpson – in some of Broadway’s greatest hits.
Love is the star of “Seasons of Love”, said Andrew Wheeler, music director and pianist. “‘Seasons of Love’ is a Broadway musical celebration of every kind of love – something that’s so important in the world today. And it’s universal – everyone’s been there. We’ve all had to navigate how to figure out our own or someone else’s feelings – how to open up and say, ‘I love you’ or face saying, ‘Goodbye’.”
When asked how the shows and songs were selected, Mr. Wheeler said, “The performers picked many of the songs they’re singing because they’re meaningful to them and reflect their passion for the show’s theme. And doesn’t collaboration embody healthy, positive, fulfilling love – where every person has an equal part?”
Why is ‘Seasons of Love’ the must-see show this fall? Mr. Wheeler was impassioned. “You’re going to have a great time – it’s that simple! You’ll hear people singing lighthearted, joyful music about all kinds of love – hopeful, unrequited (even obsessive!) – that makes you leave feeling romantic or wanting to put on an old movie. What’s better than that?”
Fall is the season to fall in love with Broadway at Seasons of Love. Sunday November 16 at 3:30 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 50 Cherry Hill Road. Great parking and accessibility.
